Before you start
- A linked and available WhatsApp account.
- A contact person who has agreed to cooperate with the test and their correct number.
Where to find it
There is an existing conversation, or a number entry for marketing interaction, or a sending entry for the address book
1. Select the sending account and contact person #
First switch to the WhatsApp account you just connected to and confirm the identity of the account you are operating. Select a test contact you know and are willing to cooperate with to complete the first verification without using batch tasks.
| Contact information | where to start |
|---|---|
| Already have a chat | Open the corresponding session in the session list. |
| know the complete number | Fill in the number in the phone number entry above "Marketing Interaction" and press the interface to enter communication. |
| Already in address book | Open the customer list, check the customer and use the corresponding sending portal. |
The number should contain the correct country information. When you find a customer with the same name, check the number before continuing.
2. Send a short test message #
In the target session enter:
This is a SocialEpoch connection test message, please reply "Received" after receiving it.
Double-check accounts and contacts before sending. Test with plain text first to avoid attachment size or format interfering with troubleshooting.
The address book sending entry may bring out the greeting: The general settings and the welcome message in the imported template will affect the content sent. Before clicking send, confirm that the preset copy meets the purpose; see for details General settings and greetings.
3. Ask the other party to reply and return to SocialEpoch to check #
- Ask the contact to confirm actual receipt of the test message.
- Ask the other person to reply with a new text message.
- Go back to the same WhatsApp account and conversation in SocialEpoch and check whether new replies appear.
Just clicking send, seeing a sending status, or just seeing a reply on the phone cannot alone prove that the two-way sending and receiving in SocialEpoch has been completed.
4. Judgment results based on message status #
In common WhatsApp receipts, one gray check indicates sent, two gray check indicates delivered, and two blue check indicates read. Factors such as read receipt settings may affect the display of the blue check, so the blue check is not a necessary condition for first-time success.
The status display of different versions of SocialEpoch may be different. Priority will be based on the other party's confirmation of receipt and the reply you see in SocialEpoch.
Whichever step fails, check from that step #
- Unable to issue: First check whether the selected account is online and whether the network is available.
- The other party did not receive: Verify the number and contact, and ask the person to confirm their network and WhatsApp status.
- There is a reply on the mobile phone, but not on SocialEpoch: Verify the same account and session, check the connection status, and see again Message synchronization with refresh settings.
- A permission or quota prompt appears: Check product access and keep the original text of the prompt.
When assistance is needed, provide the time of occurrence, application version, original error text and checked items. No password, verification code or QR code will be sent.
Check your result
- Test contacts do receive new messages from SocialEpoch.
- See the other party's new reply in the same SocialEpoch account and in the same conversation.
According to pages 12, 21, 23, 43, 44, and 45 of the "2026-SalesEpoch Operation Manual".
Menus and features may vary by client version or account access. Follow the current interface and verify critical workflows with a test account first.
