Manage Group Links and the Group Directory

Organize group links and parse basic information #

1. Enter "Group Link Management" to add a single group link, or prepare multiple links through the import entry of the page.
2. Fill in the link and related group information according to the requirements of the current window, and check the source and corresponding group.
3. Select the records that need to be parsed and use the batch parsing entry.
4. After parsing, check the group name and group profile, and then determine whether these groups belong to the scope of this business.

Parsing is used to organize the basic information of the group. It does not mean that you have joined the group, nor does it mean that you have group administrator rights. Whether the link is valid, access conditions and visible information shall be subject to the actual returned results.

Hand the group to the responsible team member #

1. The administrator selects the applicable group in the parsed record and assigns it to the specified team member.
2. Employees can check the assignment results in their own group list, and check the group name, profile and group link.
3. Employees decide whether to join based on actual service needs and group rules; first confirm the group purpose and participation qualifications.
4. After joining, check whether you have entered the correct group and whether subsequent communication complies with the group rules.

Assigning group information to team members only represents the arrangement of information and work division, and cannot be used to determine that team members have successfully joined the group. Administrators should check the assignment results and group enrollment results separately.

View group information and the group the account belongs to #

"Group Information Management" summarizes the groups that the account has joined, and can also display groups that have been parsed but not yet joined. When viewing the list, distinguish between these two types of status to avoid counting groups to be learned into the actual number of service groups.

1. Locate groups in group information management by name or other available filters.
2. View the group name, profile, currently available members, chat records, and group entry and exit log entries.
3. When you need to check from the account perspective, enter the "Group the number belongs to" and press the specified WhatsApp number to view the groups it has joined.
4. Record the groups and responsible team members that need to be handed over. If necessary, combine group members and group entry and exit logs to understand the actual management situation.

When you can’t see chat or group information #

First check whether the group has been parsed successfully, whether the account has been added, and whether the current team member has permission to view the information. The manual shows the relevant viewing entrance, but it does not prove that a group that is "only parsed and not yet joined" can read the complete chat history. Therefore, when data is missing, you should check the account and accessible range, and do not use group link analysis as a way to obtain other people's chat history.
