Before you start

  • The administrator has group risk control authority and confirms that the execution account has corresponding management authority in the target group.
  • Applicable groups, group rules, responsible personnel and internal test groups have been determined; rules that will remove members will be verified on a small scale first.

Where to find it

Configure sensitive words for target groups #

  1. Enter "Sensitive Word Configuration" and create a new rule.
  2. Fill in the sensitive words, check the applicable group tags or scope, and the matching settings provided on the current page.
  3. Choose a treatment method. The information description supports warning, deleting messages or moving out of the group, which is used to deal with group regulation issues such as advertising and malicious comments.
  4. Before saving, check whether the rules will accidentally trigger normal service terms.
  5. Use the internal test content to verify it in the test group, and then decide whether to use it in the official group.

Group sensitive words target behaviors within the group and are different from the risk control rules used by administrators to restrict team members’ external content. When troubleshooting, you should confirm which setting you have entered.

Configure automatic processing thresholds #

The automatic kicking configuration can set conditions related to the number of times sensitive words are deleted and the number of warnings, and can also handle behaviors such as screen spam and group calls. Screen swipe control involves messages such as video, audio, and text; specific options are subject to the current version of the page.

  1. Enter "Automatic kicking configuration" and check the type of behavior you want to handle.
  2. Set the number of deletions or warnings, as well as the statistical range and restrictions required by the current page.
  3. Check whether automatic removal from the group is enabled and related processing of calls within the group.
  4. After confirmation, verify in the test group that normal messages are not affected and illegal test content is processed according to settings.

The screenshot contains multiple thresholds and options, but the information does not fully explain the priority and conflict handling of all rules. When the combination behavior cannot be determined, first reduce the combination of rules and verify them one by one.

Configure blacklist and whitelist #

  1. Enter "Black and White List Management" and click "Add".
  2. Select the type and fill in the accurate WhatsApp number.
  3. After checking the number and type, click "OK" and then check the list results.
typeThe role of data description
blacklistAfter the account enters the managed group, it will be automatically removed from the group.
whitelistWhen this account sends sensitive words, the corresponding action of being kicked out of the group will not be performed.

The description of the whitelist only involves removal from the group triggered by sensitive words, and it should not be assumed that it will skip all deletions, warnings, or other risk control rules.

Check the results of automated rules #

Check whether the test messages, warnings, and member status are as expected, and then check the available risk control records. When false triggers occur, first locate the specific rules and scope of application, and make timely adjustments; do not just continue to raise the threshold. The manual does not explain whether the operation can be reversed or how to rejoin after being automatically removed. When explaining to members, avoid promising automatic recovery.

Check your result

  • Rules only cover expected groups and behaviors.
  • The normal test messages and the illegal test content show the expected differences.
  • The black and white list types and numbers are accurate, and the test results comply with the confirmed rules.

Frequently asked questions

Are whitelist members completely exempt from group rules?

It cannot be understood this way. The manual only clarifies that when whitelist members trigger sensitive words, the corresponding kick-out operation will not be performed. Other rules must be based on the current settings and test results.

Are group sensitive words and team member sensitive words the same function?

Not for the same purpose. Group rules manage the behavior of members in the group; team member risk control checks the content sent by team members to customers.

What should I do if messages are not deleted or members are removed after configuration?

First check the applicable group scope, trigger conditions, execution account status and group management permissions, and then check the actual prompts and risk control records.
